Mumbai, January 14: By now, the internet has said everything it possibly can. What it has not heard, though, is a single clear sentence from Palak Aujla. As of Wednesday, January 14, there has been no fresh reaction from Palak on the cheating allegations involving her husband, Punjabi singer Karan Aujla. No statement. No clarification. No follow-up post. Nothing new.
The last time she addressed the noise was two days ago. And even then, she did not say a word.
One Picture, Plenty Of Meaning
On January 12 and 13, Palak posted a photograph on her Instagram Stories that did all the talking for her. The image showed her leaning in and kissing Karan Aujla at what looked like a private gathering. One of his songs played in the background. Instead of a caption, there were just emojis. A crown. A heart. An evil eye.
Later, she added the picture to her highlights.
For many followers, that move mattered more than the photo itself. Instagram Stories disappear. Highlights do not. It was a quiet way of saying this is where I stand.
Entertainment portals including India Today, Hindustan Times, and Times of India read the post as Palak’s way of shutting down the rumours without getting pulled into explanations.
And then she went silent again.
How The Controversy Started
The allegations surfaced earlier this month when a Canada-based US artist, known online as msgorimusic from the rap duo Nyx & Nym, accused Karan Aujla of having a private relationship while allegedly hiding the fact that he was married.
In a series of social media posts, the artist claimed she did not know about his marriage at the time. She also alleged that once the issue became public, she was pressured to stay quiet and publicly shamed. According to her, members of Karan’s team contacted an Indian influencer to push what she described as false narratives against her.
As reported by Mid-Day and India Today, the artist has said that police authorities in Canada and the United States are looking into the matter, and that a major US media organisation is preparing to speak with her.
So far, no official confirmation from police in either country has been made public. The claims remain allegations.
Still, the seriousness of what has been alleged is why the issue refuses to die down online.
A Relationship That Was Always Low-Key
Karan Aujla married Palak Aujla in 2023, in a private ceremony in Mexico, away from cameras and noise. The two had known each other for nearly ten years, having first met in Canada in 2014, well before Karan became a big name in Punjabi music.
Even after his fame exploded, Palak stayed mostly out of the spotlight. She appeared alongside him occasionally but never positioned herself as a celebrity spouse. There were no interviews, no controversies, no attempts to be seen.
That is why her Instagram post landed the way it did. It was out of character, and because of that, it felt deliberate.
Silence From Karan Too
Karan Aujla himself has not addressed the allegations directly. No post. No video. No statement through his team.
In an industry where stars often rush to control damage, the quiet has been noticeable. Some reporters following the story believe the silence could be legal advice, especially given the claims of investigations outside India.
What is also striking is the lack of reaction from within the Punjabi music industry. No colleagues have come out in support. No one has spoken against him either. Everyone seems to be waiting.
Public Opinion Is Split Down The Middle
Online, opinions are sharply divided.
One side believes Palak’s post is enough. They see it as proof that the allegations are baseless and that the couple is solid. The other side argues that a picture does not answer serious claims and that staying silent only raises more questions.
For now, neither side is backing down.
Where Things Stand Now
As of today, nothing has moved. The allegations are still circulating. The artist continues to speak through posts. Karan remains silent. Palak has returned to her quiet corner after making her point once.
Whether there will be a formal response, a legal development, or simply more silence is unclear.
