Hyderabad, September 10: Actor Varun Tej and his wife, Lavanya Tripathi, became parents this morning. A baby boy, born at Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad in the early hours, healthy and already the center of celebration in the Mega household.
People close to the family say there was a steady stream of visitors, but the one everyone noticed was Chiranjeevi, who turned up quickly, met the parents, and then later put out a note online. He called it a “hearty welcome to the newborn baby boy in the Konidela family” and added his happiness for Varun’s parents, Nagababu and Padmaja, now first-time grandparents.
Varun didn’t make a big speech. On Instagram, he shared a black-and-white photo, captioned just: “Our little man 10.09.2025.” That was enough. The post blew up within minutes. Colleagues like Upasana Konidela and Venky Atluri commented, and fans filled the page with hearts and hashtags.
The Konidela–Allu family has been here before it’s a dynasty where every personal milestone turns public. With stars like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Pawan Kalyan already carrying the family name forward, this new child is being welcomed almost like an heir. Online chatter has already branded him the “Mega baby boy.”
For Varun and Lavanya, this is the first big personal chapter since their wedding in Tuscany back in November 2023. The couple has mostly stayed private. They haven’t revealed the child’s name, and going by past practice, that could come later after family rituals.
Both actors have been in steady careers. Varun with hits like Kanche and F2, and Lavanya remembered for Andala Rakshasi and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. But for now, cinema is on pause. Today, it’s family first.
