Google Pixel 9 to Drop Below ₹35,000 in Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale

Google Pixel 9 Flipkart Sale

New Delhi, September 11: Google’s Pixel 9 is set for a massive price drop during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days (BBD) Sale 2025. The phone, which launched in India at ₹79,999, will be available for as low as ₹34,999.

Pixel 9 At Half The Launch Price

According to The Times of India, the 12GB + 256GB variant will be listed with a discount of nearly ₹45,000. The deal combines a flat price cut, bank offers from Axis and ICICI, and exchange bonuses.

Navbharat Times reports that the Pixel 9 will be one of Flipkart’s headline deals this year, similar to how iPhones have driven past sales.

The sale begins on 23 September for all users. Flipkart Plus and Flipkart Black members get early access on 22 September.

Why Such A Big Discount?

Analysts point to three main reasons:

  1. Festive push – The September–October season is India’s biggest shopping window. Google wants a larger share of the premium market.
  2. Clearing stock – New Pixel Pro models and foldables are expected soon. Cutting prices now clears inventory.
  3. Bank partnerships – Much of the discount is funded by Flipkart and banks, not only Google.

What Buyers Should Know

The deal looks attractive, but there are a few caveats:

  • Stock may be limited. Lowest prices are often part of flash deals.
  • Bank offers may not apply to all cards.
  • Exchange bonuses vary by the phone being traded.
  • Colour and storage options may run out quickly.

As Gadgets 360 notes, the effective price can differ for each buyer depending on eligibility.

Why It Matters For Google

This could be a turning point for Google in India. The Pixel brand has struggled against Apple and Samsung. At under ₹35,000, the Pixel 9 will compete with OnePlus, iQOO, and Realme instead of iPhones.

If customers bite, Google could finally build a larger user base in India. That would also help it push its AI features like Gemini, which are built into the Pixel 9.

What To Expect Next

The first wave of sales on 22 September will show how real this offer is. If units sell out in minutes, it may frustrate buyers. If Flipkart keeps stock open at ₹34,999, the Pixel 9 could become this season’s biggest tech deal.
